Frequently Asked Questions

Planning a wedding comes with a lot of questions. Looking for a Wisconsin wedding content creator? Wondering how it’ll fit into your day? Here are some quick answers about what I do, what you’ll get, and how it all works. Don’t see your question here? Reach out here, I’m happy to chat.

Do you replace my photographer or videographer?

Nope. I’m not here to replace them, I’m here to complement them. Your photographer and videographer focus on the big moments, posed shots, and polished edits. I’m in the background capturing everything in between: the real, raw, emotional, and fun stuff — on iPhone. While some of the footage is shaky and candid, some is also intentionally shot to feel more cinematic and emotional. Think of it as the stuff that makes you say, “I didn’t even know that happened!”

So, what kind of content do you actually capture?

A little bit of everything:

The quiet, emotional moments (like your mom helping you with jewelry)

The party chaos (yes, I will get your cousin doing the worm)

Your venue details, tablescapes, and décor

A cinematic take on first looks or private vows

Raw footage of speeches and toasts

Behind-the-scenes clips of you and your favorite people

It’s all real-time content, delivered fast. After 24 hours you’ll receive all unedited clips and one short-form edited reel.

How is the quality different from a videographer?

Great question! Everything I shoot is on iPhone, so you won’t get audio-mic setups, large steady cam rigs, or long, fully produced videos. That said, I do take care in how I shoot, some moments will feel more polished and intentional, especially emotional or aesthetic ones. But if you want a full cinematic video of your wedding with professional editing, voiceovers, and licensed music, you’ll want a traditional videographer in addition to me.

When do I get the footage?

All files are delivered within 24 hours of your wedding. You’ll get:

A folder of unedited iPhone clips and photos

One short-form edited reel

Raw footage of speeches or toasts

Files will be stored for 3 months

Can I request specific moments to be captured?

Absolutely. We’ll have a planning call a week or two before your wedding to walk through your timeline and talk about any must-haves, like a gift exchange with your parents, a special dance, or even the morning coffee cheers with your bridal party. I’ll make sure I’m in the right place at the right time.

Will I even notice you there?

Probably not, and that’s the goal. I’m intentionally low-profile, quietly moving through your day to catch everything from the background. No big equipment, no staged moments. Just me, my iPhone, and your real life unfolding.

What happens if my schedule changes or runs late?

No matter how much you plan, weddings rarely go exactly according to plan. But that doesn’t mean things will go completely haywire! We’ll review the flow of the day in our planning call, and I’ll stay in touch with your planner, photographer, or whoever’s running point so I can adjust as needed. I won’t disappear if you’re running 10 minutes behind.

Still have some questions?

Totally normal, every wedding is different! If there’s something you’re wondering that I didn’t cover here, it’s normal, just reach out! I’m more than happy to chat through anything you may have questions on or help you figure out if a wedding content creator is the right fit for your day.
